Problem configuring e-mail settings

Hello!

 

I am new to PrestaShop and I wanted to configure the basics before I move on to the more important stuff. First of all I have a problem with my mail settings.

 

I have a webspace on one.com and I'm trying to configure my e-mail settings, the thing is I contacted customer support on one.com, they gave me all the info necessary, which is as follows:

 

SMTP Server : mailout.one.com

SMTP User: your email address

SMTP Password: none

Encryption: none

Port: 25

 

While these settings work there is one major problem: All the email sent this way is sent from "[email protected]" (which is the email I registered my prestashop admin account and my account on one.com with). What I want to accomplish is that my email sent from prestashop has the address "[email protected]" which also is an activated e-mail account on one.com.

In your admin panel go to Preferences>Store Contacts if you use Prestashop 1.5, or to Preferences>Contact Information if you use PrestaShop 1.4. On the page that opens in the field for Shop email type the email address that you want to appear in the From field of emails sent to customers. Note that's this is not the actual address from which the messages are sent (it's configured from the settings you've described).
