After selecting country, state field is empty on addresses/checkout page.

Hello all,

 

I've searched all over the internet trying to figure out why my state field isn't populating and can't find a solution anywhere. The code in the tpl file of my theme is identical to the code in the default theme. The default theme works just fine, but my theme doesn't. Obviously, switching to the default theme won't work for my site.

 

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? This is rather important for my site to function and my visitors to be able to check out.

Disabling Compatibility View in Internet Explorer might fix it

I have tested this and it is happening in all modern browsers. Any more thoughts? Clearly this field is getting populated by another page based on the code. Does anyone know where that code is? I imagine if I know where it is, I can copy that file from my default template to my current template and see if that works.
