mapmonkey
Hi First post so please bare with me. I want to configure the store such that the displayed prices are net with the gross price in brackets under. So this is opposite to how it is at the moment. I think I can handle that by switching the prices over in the tpl. BUT how can I change the Order Detail form to show net prices with a seperate field for total vat and total order with VAT. I have attached an example image. Unit price should be £20. Total Products and Total Excl VAT should be £20. VAT field should show £3.50 I have been getting to grips with general build of the store and what does what in the back end, I would welcome a few pointers and tips. I think it is very important to get the price and tax issues sorted out for the UK as the current implementation doesn't produce valid VAT invoices or order summary. Thanks in advance. mapmonkey
hi again No advice from anyone? I can't be the only one to want to do this or am I missing something blindingly obvious? Thanks in advance
coffeeian
I also have the same issue, but slightly different as I have a mix of VAT'able and non-VAT'able products. I too would like Presta to use excl-VAT/TAX as default and then add VAT/TAX at the checkout stage.
netrover
Please forgive me for bringing an old topic to life but I have searched and can't find the answers.I wondered if any of you found a solution anywhere to this problem and would like to shar it with us all. (hopefully) I am still setting up my first store and trying to get to grips with so many settings. The store that I setup for a client at he wants. I added the 15% vat to all his products but he also wants to show the net prices and then added VAT onto checkout like both of you are looking for.He is only selling to the UK so I thought this might of been easy to do?kind regards, Andy
