units: lengths in ft (feet) and in (inches)

Hi

 

I am building a surfboards website. And the surfboards dimensions are in

feet and inches i.e. 6'1 or 6'5

and inches and eigth or sisteenth of inches i.e. 2''1/4 or 2''3/16

is it possible and how to create attribute values that will display with these units and be able to sort by them?
