user2013
HI, I had old version of prestashop installed and later i installed fresh copy of new, recent version. I had created few pages and product description in old version and i have files saved. I want to copy some content from some CMS pages and some product descriptions, titles etc, I am not a programmer but i need to know the path where prestashop saves content of every product, like title, descriptions, tags, meta info, and any text we manually write in any module and new pages added in CMS. i am having short time to install it on wamp so i think it would be simple and fast if someone tells me the path so i can simply open that coded file and copy desired contents. Thanks
vekia
well, the point is that the all contents are saved in prestashop database. If you want to fast copy all datas you should export database from source and then insert it in new store via import database feature in database managers like phpmyadmin

user2013
I would mention how i solved this so other people who do not know can get this useful info. In case you have your OLD updated Database file which contains all your previous contents etc and you want to copy them. Simply import that database file in phpMyAdmin in your hosting server under any new database name, Browse through tables of database and see table fields of each table and when you see some table has text you need to copy, check that table from checkbox, click on Export and export that as CSV and open it in excel file and you will easily be able to copy contents.
