cecileyorkies Posted March 29, 2013 Share Posted March 29, 2013 ERROR: Friendly URL not working with Presta Shop Module to show products in Joomla Site 2.5.9 ERROR MESSAGE : URL rewriting (mod_rewrite) is not active on your server, or it is not possible to check your server configuration. If you want to use Friendly URLs, you must activate this mod. Yes is selected and saved ..... PROBLEM: Presta Shop Product Module does not show up in Joomla Website 2.5.9 Have contacted the developer and he suggested turn on friendly url .... which I did and got the error message / Tried all the options : Retrieve products data directly from database (insert Prestashop root folder path or set database connection settings*) or use Prestashop webservice. MODULE LINK : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e-commerce/e-commerce-integrations/21948 BUT STILL NO LUCK with showing products in my Joomla website / did not get a reply from developer again after suggestion to turn on friendly urls.... IS this a "bug" like I read on forums or just a warning still to be deleted from new versions - JUST uploaded 5.1.4 which still have the message ...... Please advice what to do! THANKS A MILL!!!! Automatically redirect to the canonical URL Yes No Recommended, but your theme must be compliant. Disable apache multiviews Yes No Enable this option only if you have problems with URL rewriting. Disable apache mod security Yes No Some features could not work correctly with a specific configuration of apache mod security.
