Association problem

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with some of my products.

We have a category called footwear which had 4 subcategories in it.

My customer somehow managed to delete these sub categories, so I re did them.

On re-assigning the products I have noticed that they are all saying they are all now linked to another category and sub category but the tick boxes are not ticked, but they still appear in the wrong sub categories as well as the re fixed ones.

Any ideas of how I fix this? (see screenshot)

I have looked through the database structure and cannot seem to pin it down!

Help!

Regards,

Stuart.

Looks like "High Visiblilty" got one of the old category ID's after your customer deleted it.

Do you still have an old database? Check what numbers the deleted categories had.

Are there subcategories in the new database that are connected to these old category ID's?

Check the category id code of "High Visibility", and see what sub categories are coupled to it. are there that aren't visible in the subcategory list?

If so, Then check what can be the cause. Also, are there any products that are connected to these sub categories?

This is the reason there should be Create/Update/Delete rules/restrictions on the database level, Prestashop!

Good luck!

My 2 cents,

Pascal.
