Whispar1
Has anyone run across odd caching behavior in the back office? For instance, if I delete a shopping cart, Prestashop reports successful deletion however the cart is still on the page unless I refresh the page. This also happens when editing and saving product data in catalog >products. There are other areas in the BO I have seen this but it is random on those. This happens in both chrome and Firefox but is completely stable and refreshes correctly in IE8. It should be noted that this happens on a completely fresh reload of Chrome/Firefox (cache emptied, cccleaner, reboot, etc.) I have tried disabling cache in chromes developer tools but did not seem to have an effect, plus makes browsing a pain so reenabled. Has this happened to anyone and if so - is there a fix?
cocothecat
What version (For ff and chrome and PS)? Sounds more like a bug in the back office not forcing a refresh on deletion rather than a browser issue... I could be wrong though
Dh42
Do you have filesystem caching enabled?
Whispar1
Thanks for the input. Chrome ver. 25.0.1364.172 FireFox ver. 19..0.2 DH42, File system caching is disabled. Its more of a nuisance right now but I have had a few url errors when adjust products >seo with it saving the old friendly url - makes a duplicate so that is a problem. Right now I am making changes in the BO with IE8 to avoid this but the BO is sooo much slower in IE8, but at least accurate. I get that different browser handle caching differently but I cant figure this one out. Early on I found an error in my .htaccess where I had duplicate <IfModule mod_expires.c> rules. This did cause some caching issues in the FO but again, only in Chrome/FF. I guess IE ignored the duplicate.
