iBMW
I have a shop with a previous version of prestashop and a version of paypal module that let me insert from the backoffice the logo of my site when a customer choose paypal as payment method. Well now im creating a new shop and there is no option into the back office to add the logo of the site at paypal screen once the customer choose paypal as payment method ... prestashop version 1.5.3.1 Is there any way to insert the link of the logo (hosted on a https server) to show it at paypal's window? Or wich is the file to edit on the /modules/paypal ? Thanks to anyone that can help!
yaniv14
I think that you can do it in your paypal account, regardless prestashop.
iBMW
Hello, thanks but if i do it from my paypal account, it will change the logo used on all of my sites (i have 5 sites connected to my paypal account, each one has a different logo), so i can't change it from there. Is there a way to do it from back office with my version of prestashop or wich is the file to edit? Thanks!!
yourplaything
It's cant be done through prestashop. Once the customer clicks on "pay with PayPal" it's redirects them to the PayPal website and then once the payment has been made it redirects them back to your website. So there is no way to do it through prestashop. As it has already been said the only way is to change it through your PayPal account but like you have said that's not an option. So it doesn't look like you can do it unless you create a separate PayPal account for this website?
cocothecat
If you have 5 business to the one account id imagine high risk with paypal there ... anyway wouldnt they all fall under the same "business group" If I had 5 sites id have one company that owned them all it makes it easier to manage terms, payment etc so id just put the main "group" logo as the header within paypal. If that's not an option your stuck as you can't run more than 1 paypal business account.
iBMW
Well yes i was thinking to make all with the logo of my company as its used on another website too. Trust me on another version of prestashop, the paypal logo had the option from the back office to put the url of https logo to use on the website , i have this on a 2012 prestashop website.. cocothecat
I think you do get that option depending on what paypal payment gateway you use...
