Rainbow Trade Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 I have recently exported the prestashop database and imported it to a new database which is on a different url. When I first made these changes I was been redirected to the old prestashop website. I found the settings in the database for ps_shop_url and changed the domain and domain ssl to the domain name of the new site. However, the layout is totally wrong and also I am now unable to login to the backend of this. Any idea what I can do? Thanks Jon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dh42 Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 Are you just pluggin the database into another shop? You need to transfer the files that the database used too. You could be missing modules and what not. Also you need to transfer the keys out of the settings.inc.php for the passwords to work. Prestashop uses a salted hash, so you need to use the same salt. We have a website called expresssafety.co.uk/presta and all of these files need to be moved across to our new url which is rainbowtrade.co.uk. Dh42 Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 The employees table. I am talking about server access, WHM is what you delegate cpanel accounts in.
