I'm newbie here,, I've done for instalation of prestashop,, and I've login in my shop page,, but the dashboard menu not show,, only text "dashboard".. what i should do.. please give me some direction.. thanks.. Or it has some problem on the installation process? 2.: Have you transfer all the files of Prestashop to the local of the installation? 3.: Have you deleted the directory Install? 4.: Renamed the admin folder? 5.: Is there a connection with the database? try to... clean the Smarty Cache. Go to: tools>Smarty>cache tools>Smarty>compile tools>Smarty_v2>cache tools>Smarty_v2>compile and clean everything but the index.php maybe you should... It would help if you posted a snap shot of the page, try refreshing CTRL+F5 or F5. You can as suggetsed above try the install again and see if you have the same issue. Did you try a different browser, deleted all browser cache files. This usually happens on an upgrade and sometimes requires deleting all files in the smarty cach and compile folder.
