sk15kev
I almost have my website up and running, just finishing adding all the products. The store sells antique and reclaimed furniture amongst other things for which delivery costs is not an easy issue. Each item will have a unique cost based on the item itslef and the distance to be delivered. The old and still live website is thecowshed.co.uk if you wanted to get an idea.I don't know quite how to go about my intended solution, so was looking for some guidance>What I would like to do is stop the checkout procedure at the delivery stage, and present the customer with a notice or form to get in contact with us to arrange a delivery quote.Once we provide the quted amount they can then re-check out from their stored cart and fill in a blank delivery amount box which would then add to the total.I wanted to avoid paying refunds to customers who were not happy with delivery costs, hence the need to stop the payment before finalising.Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance..-Kev
