RaPhiuS
If you make a shop multilingual you might have better change to get an answer as I can't read your language. Did you setup some settings on the back office? If yes, which one, please clarify. BR, RaPhiuS

Did you setup some settings on the back office? If yes, which one, please clarify. BR, RaPhiuS Sorry, my shop is only in Thai. But Lang should not be an issue because it happens to others as well . I found 2-3 threads regarding this issue. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/110703-contact-form-works-but-still-get-error-message/ The back office is set properly .I used SMTP but even if I switched to PHPmail , the error still occurs. I send message to customer without any problem . But the problem just happen in "Contact form" page. I guess there might be a decrepency between the code and the form but have no clue how to fix. king888
Anyone ? I don't understand why PS 1.5 is so poor. A lot of bugs . And the forum turns to be a graveyard. A lot of unsolved problems and no one seems to care. What 's going on ?
RaPhiuS
Did you actually change anything in the contact form? Do you use a specific theme? Is this theme Presta 1.5+ compatible? This is actually weird that if you send a message both using SMTP settings OR using the simple mail function that currently you can send emails but messages do not get send from the contact from. Either this is a problem from your host or a problem in the files because you might be using a theme not compatible with 1.5+. Many of the themes out there states it's compliant with 1.5+, however, it's sad to see it's not and that is usually causing a great amount of trouble. I am just trying to help out here, it's not a graveyard in the forums, if you can qualify the bug and if you take the time to read properly the documentation, you can always log a bug or defect through Forge. There are no obligations of support in a forum, just people trying to help out. Please clarify the points above around theme and host. king888
Thanks RaPhius. The message in the contact form is actually sent . But there is the error message in that page. But I receive message . So it should not display error at all. I will try to change the contact form page back to default and let's see what happen. My last post was not directly to you . It was for Prestashop team . Presta used to be very good free shopping cart but I don't think it is today. I might change to another cart soon. And the Prestashop team do not care to even answer question here anymore. The Forge section is not so useful . Again, my problem might due to my custom theme. But lack of answer or even users posted in the forum is the sign of dying shopping cart.
RaPhiuS
Just to clarify one thing, a theme screwing up the 1.5+ version of Prestashop is the sole responsibility of the person who developed it. That said, if the theme is tweaking or using nasty artifacts to make it work is just not acceptable, therefore, I don't want to defend anyone, but I have coded all the parts I needed myself, following the documentation, learning how it works and I don't get any of the problems you have reported. The only problem I have at the moment with Prestashop is the calculation of taxes when discount are applied with numbers instead of percentage, hence I really can't blame the development team as the current implementation is just, in my opinion, amazingly great when we look at it under a pure MVC angle and so far the best one I have ever worked with. I am convinced that if you install a baseline installation of Prestashop and you use the contact form as in its pure implementation, that you won't get the error which is here reported. In conclusion, your altered files are doing something nasty that you need to nail down or provide us with enough information of the changes which you made so we can have a look at it and provide you guidance should we find any.
