prestalearn
Ive recently upgraded to ps 1.5 and with my 301 redirects prestashop adds ?controller=404 at the end of the new links so the redirect doesnt work an get a 404? If I remove ?controller manually in browser it works. Any clues why prestashop adds this? My 301 looks like this: Redirect 301 /oldcategory/oldproduct.html /newcategory/newproduct.html this redirect puts the visitor to /newcategory/newproduct.html?controller=404 instead of just /newcategory/newproduct.htm. Any help would be really appriciated!
cocothecat
Daft question but since upgrading have you tried to regenerate the htaccess file and turn friendly urls on/ off and back on again? I had a problem where the htaccess needed to be refreshed after a recent upgrade.

cocothecat
In the new url you should put the full domain Redirect 301 /oldcategory/oldproduct.html http://www.mydomain.com/newcategory/newproduct.html At the moment your trying to tell it to redirect from one folder to another folder when in fact the file structure has changed.
