one item, different descriptions

Hello,

 

I have a question:

 

If I have a product (for example a charger)

that it's good for 5 different kind of cellular phones, in ebay I make 5 different

announcements with different description which refers to the same product,

in prestashop I want to have this 5 announcements with one unique reference number:

 

example:

 

CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i9100 REFERENCE NUMBER 0010

CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i8910 REFERENCE NUMBER 0010

CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i5830 REFERENCE NUMBER 0010

CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i5660 REFERENCE NUMBER 0010

CHARGER FOR SAMSUNG i3650 REFERENCE NUMBER 0010

 

 

So when I sell one charger for samsung i9100, automatically in the stock the quantity of

all the product with reference number 0010 will decrease of 1 piece.

 

Is it possible to do that? if not, there is some module that do that?

Wouldnt it make more sense to have one product the the Samsung i range or call it the i3,5,8,9 charger range and have one product that does it all? It reduced the need to have so many duplicated products that are basiclly the same item but a different name?

I agree with cocothecat. Could you not have a single item with multiple attributes? Each attribute representing the different phone chargers you listed above. This way you could easily keep track of sells and stock limits.

Thanks, but for more visibility on ebay I need to have 5 different annoucements, so in this case if I make multiple attributes in prestashop I can synchronize 1 attribute with 1 ebay announcement? There is some module do that.

eBay market place and ecommerce store both have different user experiance goals and function differently towards your client base, trying to do a 1 job fit all isnt always the best way to go about this. I can't be of much help here sorry.
