[email protected]
Hi everyone, I running the great 1.5x version on the web, but would also like to use the new back office order functionality for my inhouse shop (retail outlet). Does anyone know is and how we can integrate barcode scanning and catching of items in the back office ordering module. This on an attribute level. Thanks for your interest and reply ;-) /Gert LASSEN.BIZ
the.rampage.rado
This would be awesome! Presta devs, please include barcode and reference in the product search in New order from BO. It could be also very helpful to have discount field on every product so it would be easier to make discounts. It would be helpful not only for retail orders but for those that sell on other platforms. This will reduce the time for searching and manually decreasing the product quantities. Dolibarr integration module will be also most welcome. That way merchants would utilise it's great powers but will have their stock in Presta up-to-date each minute. guest*
Presta Store Manager Pro has a POS integrated. You can search by barcodescanner your products and generate an order from there. Select there first a customer (you can use the customer group functions here for discount or price increase) and than add your products. You can try the tool 30 days for free. http://addons.presta...prestashop.html
TACS
the.rampage.rado I use google chrome which translates the pages, give it a try if you don't use it as your browser CD2500 from what I can see the module you're referring too doesn't support POS. If it does, does it work effectively in a shop environment where you're likely to be using an epos till? Dolibarr's Cashdesk works effectively in a retail (shop environment) without the need for generate invoices or orders for each customer.
guest*
It supports POS and also barcodescanners. Please give a try. I'm using this addon since 2 years WITH barcodescanners. Dolibarr is a mess on translations. I've tried it. It is using PHP Translator with thousands of mismatch errors on transaltions. For to correct them you need to change via script-file. Dolibarr is only for ES and for FR out of the box usefull. Besides I don't like the double database option (you write into a database and than this is synchronized with PS). Presta Store Manager connects directly to Prestashop DB and there is no need of a second database communicating with Prestashop.
TACS
scaremongering? I hate to correct you but dolibarr is in English! I am using dolibarr myself and have been for weeks.. The only thing that is french, is the module.. looks to me like your just trying to get people to pay for something which they can obtain for FREE! guest*
Yes you are right, it is also EN, but all other languages are translated with php translator and are a mess... I was working on dolibarr for some months, finally I gave up, because there are better solutions, although as paid solution. I prefer to pay for it instead to loose my time in fixing problems.
