delvedesign
I have built a shop using Prestashop 1.4.8.2 on a domain reference (http://79.170.44.91/...zandglam.co.uk/) I have backed up the database for this store and I've also downloaded the Prestashop files via FTP. I then uploaded the files to a dedicated server via FTP into the following sub-directory: /var/www/html/glitzyandglam I did this because I will be using the dedicated server for multiple websites and I am using Apache Virtual Host to set up server names for each domain running on a single ip address. So if you visit www.glitzyandglam.com it will point to the sub-directory I mentioned above. I have also changed the value inside the database within the ps_confirguration table to point to the real domain "glitzyandglam.com" The problem I'm having is that when I goto the domain "glitzyandglam.com" I get redirected to the domain reference that the old site is sitting on. And if I try to login to the admin I go through an endless loop. The dedicated server is using linux centos 6. Has anyone found a solution for this? delvedesign
There is no real way to fix this issue and it's a real mess! I had to do a fresh install and then overwrite the theme folder with my custom theme. Annoying.
