ornusweb
Hello, I have 2 sites build using Prestashop, one of them is version 1.4 and the other version 1.5. Both the sites are not loading including both the store front and admin backend. I get the "Webpage not available" error message. These 2 sites are hosted with Godaddy and other sites hosted on the same server are loading without problems. I am able to access the MySql DB and also able to access the files via FTP. To test I uploaded a test page as the index.php and it loaded fine so I know there is no problem with the DNS or hosting. I ran a DNS check and everything seems perfect. However when I remove the test page and replace it with the actual index.php file I get the webpage not available error back. I checked the footer.tpl to see any suspicious code as suggested by other topics for attack vunerability for version 1.4 but couldnt find any suspicious code. I enabled error display and SQL debug in the config.inc.php file but no luck. It just seems like the site takes a lot of time to load and then suddenly gives up and crashes. Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated, my client is barking in my ears as the site is down for the past 4 hours. thanks!

jberezhnoy
Hi, this can be a hosting related problem. Here is a similar thread at godaddy support: http://support.godaddy.com/groups/web-hosting/forum/topic/increasing-script-allowed-time/ and what about your backoffice - is it loading? ornusweb
Thanks jberezhnoy, i read thru that link and have submitted a support ticket with the error logs to godaddy support. and to answer your quetion, No even the backoffice is not loading. however both the frontend and backend loaded successfully a couple of times today but before I could troubleshoot or investigate they went back down. Ken_GoDaddy
@ornusweb, I'm with Go Daddy and came across your post. Have you been able to access your site since your original post? ornusweb
hi Ken, I am able to access both the sites and their backend however the problem is intermittent, sometimes I see the same problem occuring. GoDaddy support advised that I edit the php5.ini file to increase the PHP upload limit, however I do NOT have access to the php5.ini file as I am on the ultimate hosting package (shared). we are observing the sites currently and if it gets any worse, I'll let you and support know. thanks
Ken_GoDaddy
@ornusweb, I'm sorry to hear your still having issues on the backend. If this is still occuring please PM your contact information and I would be happy to reach out to you. You can change the PHP5.ini file within your hosting account. Here is a helpful link that includes instructions on how to increase the upload limit: http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/1475/what-is-the-php-upload-limit-on-linux-shared-hosting-accounts
