aivars Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Newsletter block in PS 1.5.3.1 not registering subscribers. Just refreshed page. Same problem existed with my other install of PS 1.4 Both themes are not default. The new one theme PS1.5 was bought from prestashop addons. Old one 1.4 was my a lot modified template. Both sites are on different hosting provider. Same servers but other installs of prestashop with just default theme installed have perfectly working newsletter. Both sites have one column index page ( no left or right column existing). That might be issue? I will pay a pint of beer or glass of vine for french via PayPal for resolving post! Dh42 Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 I am going to go out on a limb and say it is a theme problem. I have actually used the newsletter block twice this week and checked it to make sure it worked. (twice meaning two different shops) What themes are you using, and do they replace the block, or just change it? One hack I have had to use with a theme that replaced it was to enable the default block, hook it, and set it to not visible in the css. Then it will load all of the files it needs to work.
