leecook
Hi everyone. I am really hoping someone can help. I have upgraded manually from v1.4.7 to 1.5.3. When I ran the install it gave me an error 28 which is saying I already had the latest version which was strange. I carried on and removed the install folder and amended my admin folder and now I have access to the BO. The problem is I cannot get into the FO. The error I get is The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. I have found an Upgrade log on the server which I opened and it looks like a lot of things it has tried to do and a lot of errors for each one. Please can anyone help me. I am desperate to get this working. Thanks Lee
Trip
I hope you have a backup? You should roll back to that and see what went wrong? If not look in your database. How many tables are there? When there are about 205 or less your database was not upgraded. A 1.5.3. version should have about 250+ tables. So if db upgrade failed look at config/settings.inc.php if the file is upgraded to new version and if it is so, replace it with the one from the old version and start manual upgrade again. If db is up to date and settings.inc.php too than you can enable debugging in config/defines.inc.php /* Debug only */ define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); to see if you get more specific error reports. If there are many errors as you said, I would prefer to reinstall the hopefully available backup and try again from a semi clean stage Btw. A blank page could simply mean that the template is not installed/available so try to select a different theme from backoffice and see what happens. Good luck, trip Edited March 20, 2013 by Trip (see edit history)
