PayPal 3.4.5 + PS 1.5.3.1 = Multiple Shipping Address Errors

I have 2 shops running 1.5.3.1 and they were working fine until I did the PayPal module upgrade to the 3.4.5 version. Both shops only allow USA orders and have all other countries disabled.

 

After the upgrade, the first error that showed up was the

 

10729L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address State Empty

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The field Shipping Address State is requiredL_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

 

I resolved this error by following the steps in this thread: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/225187-paypal-express-checkout-error-the-field-shipping-address-state-is-required/

 

Now, customers are getting error:

 

 

ERRORCODE0 -> 10736L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal CodeL_LONGMESSAGE0 -> A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

 

I can't find any logical fix for this error other than that I've seen many posts say it means customers aren't selecting a state on the PayPal page. It's hard for me to believe that multiple customers are overlooking the state field multiple times. I have customers resubmitting orders over and over and the orders are coming through just with no payment attached. So, you can't tell me that this is only a PayPal error. There has to be an error in the PaPyal module that was recently updated.

Hi jimmyc, are you still having this problem? Have you updated to the newest PayPal module?
