hello guys,

 

plz i want to do the following :

 

- i have a prestashop store installed and configured in the address www.domain1.com.

- i need to use this same content in domain1 and see it in www.domain2.com with different theme, without copiying the entire website into domain2.

- when i add or remove products from domain1.com, it is removed of course from domain2 as well because domain2 has only a theme installed on it and uses the content of domain1.com.

Hi,

 

do you use 1.5? That version allow you create multistore with different themes and different products. When I test this feature, I can create product for one store view.

thnx for replying Mr. Alexander, yes i'm using 1.5 but how to set this up ? and i don't want different products for each store, i want only same store in domain1.com that appears with a different theme in domain2.com - can i do this using this feature ?

Quite easy to setup - I created exactly the same this morning with v1.5.

 

I followed PS's guide here : http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+multiple+shops

 

If you are using cPanel make sure you park your additional domains to your 'Master' hosting package for it to work effectively.
