[Solved] Can I add my modules to my personal git repository?

hi,

My question may seem very simple and obvious but I prefer asking it than having any doubt. So my question is if I develop a prestashop module, can i add it to my personal git repository and make it available to those who may need it? Just want to be sure

Hello Aany,

 

Of course you can. You can freely use github for public projects. You can share a project like your module or even snippets of code.

And in case you want to join the prestashop contributors you can even modify the presta source code to help the community.

 

There are quite some many tutorials how to contribute on github.
