Display products from custom search

Hi,

 

I'm trying to create a module for Prestashop (1.4.8.2) but seem to be somewhat stuck.

 

I have created a search form and backend code that works. I get product ids out of the database of the products I would like to show, but I do not find a good way to display them.

 

I'm trying to find a way to hook into the search or category to use the default way to display the products but I cant seem to find where to do this.

 

One way would be to simply create my own display of the products but it would seem simpler to use existing category style.

 

Could someone point me in the right direction?
