vapsmoke
I want to confirm my site to Google webmaster tool. In which folder must be an HTML page stored, so I can call them directly. Thanks
guest*
This depends on your server structure. Google don't need this. You simply add to google your domain. http:// blabla . com Or are you talking about the sitemap.xml ? This is yourdomain/sitemap.xml if you shop is in root directory. If not and in a subfolder like /shop/ so the address is yourdomain/shop/sitemap.xml.
vapsmoke
Dear cd2500 This is what i have to do: Recommended: Upload an HTML file upload an HTML file to your website First Download this HTML verification page down. [googlexxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.html] Second You upload the file to http://www.mysite.ch/. Third Confirm successful download by calling http://www.mysite.ch/googlecxxxxxxxxxx.html in your browser. 4th Click below on "Check". Remove the HTML file after a successful confirmation is not, so that the confirmation is maintained. Regards
parsifal
Hi vapsmoke. As cd2500 said, the path of the directory where your site's files are located may vary from hosting provider to hosting provider. You should connect to your hosting space via FTP and locate the directory searching for contents that look something like this: Also, there are alternative ways to complete Google's verification. I prefer the one where you add an appropriate TXT record to your domain's DNS records. I find it a more "clean" method since it does not require uploading an additional and unrelated file to your PrestaShop directory.
