Changing colours to suit my website

Recommended Posts

Hi

Can someone please help me and talk me through the steps to change colours on a theme?

I don't really care about the layout of the theme, I basically am quite easy to please I just don't want my site to be really boring.

I sell bespoke pet items so all I really need is something in colours to match my site, ideally a theme with rounded box edges is even better but it must be free I cannot afford at the moment to pay for anything.

Is there anyone here who could talk me through changing the CSS files of a theme so I can change the background to my own image and the font and box colours to my own?

I don't know really where I am meant to find these files. I have downloaded the default theme and had a look. I can find a file called CSS files and there are obviously various files in there but can you tell me which ones I need to change?

Also once I change these CSS files can I just save them and then install them onto my prestashop?

I really don't want the suggestion of buying something or paying someone so if someone could please talk me through how to do it I would really appreciate it.

I am female so be nice :D I am just desperate to get my site looking more interesting.

Thank you!

as i said in other your topic you must have got access to the FTP, without this it will be very hard to change colors of your theme. You can upload CSS files without any reinstallation or something, just upload, refresh page and thats all :-)
