stickybubble
Hello, I'm a webmaster of prestashop, verison v.1.4.8.2. A few days before my hosting account provider sent me a letter saying that because of my store high load & using too many resources they have to disable my script already. And they ask me to check with the code developer why the specified script caused such high load. Before I give them any explanations from the code develop, they will not recover the store. Does anyone ever meet this script issue? Here is the letter: “Dear , We have noticed excessive server resource usage on one of your accounts hosted with us. Since the resource abuse had an adverse affect on server condition, we took some actions to bring the server to stable conditions. The activity and the action taken as a result are listed below: Your account is causing high load spikes on the server, we had no choice but to disable your "/home/***/public_html/order-opc.php" script to control load on the server. Your account is one of the top resource abuser on the server, please fine resource usage and currently running processes detail for your account below: -------- *** (domain).com 121.45 0.06 8.3 Top Process %CPU 64.0 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 25457 12609 21 09:47 ? 00:00:01 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 25562 12609 4 09:47 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 26629 12609 17 09:47 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 26806 6651 0 09:47 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 27316 12609 35 09:47 ? 00:00:01 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php *** 27571 12609 23 09:47 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/php /home/***/public_html/order-opc.php --- Please get back to us so we may work together for the resoultion of the issue. More often than not, single spikes in usage are attributed to abuse by your visitors or the fact that your website was hacked through an insecure application you deployed in the past. We strongly suggest that you upgrade all applications within your account to make sure they are not insecure. If you are not sure how to proceed, our web development department can assist you at a cost. As it is in a shared hosting, please do have a check with the help of your code developer, and find out why the specified script is showing such a CPU aggressive nature and do take necessary measures to make it for minimal resource usage. For that please get back to us with your local IP address (You will get it from 'http://www.whatismyip.com/'), so that we can allow access for your IP address for maintenance purpose and once you have taken necessary measures, do let us know the measures that you have taken to avoid such high usage in the future, so that we can enable global access. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. "
PrestaCoder.com
Hi, I think a good idea would be to change your hosting provider. Also, did you check to see if you are using force compile / or if you are not caching the pages in the performance page from Prestashop B.O?
