rbgerrish
Hello, I've got my page theme setup, but am having some trouble grasping the prestashop workflow. What I'd like to do is have "Gallery" and "Videos" menu items on the top horizontal menu, and have that link take you to a page that has the "JGallery" module on it. I can make the horizontal menu item, but how do I link it to a normal page that can have videos or galleries? How do I install a module on a page OTHER than the main page? MY PAge: http://www.dsproonline.com Thanks, ryan Edited March 16, 2013 by rbgerrish (see edit history)

rbgerrish
Essentially I want to have a GAllery module appear on a custom page called "Gallery," which appears on the top menu bar. I have no idea how to make this happen. I"m guessing it involves hooks? I glanced at the link you provided, it looks complicated, but if it's the only way I can start to go through it. I was hoping it'd be easier. Thanks, ryan
vekia
Follow Nemo tutorial and then add an url to your page with top horizontal menu configuration tool, you can add there any link you want with this:
grafician
I have the same problem, what is the correct way to put a link in top menu? For example: in cms pages I add "Sticker personalizat" at title and "sticker-personalizat" at friendly url, when I click save and preview url will be "http://localhost/en/content/7-sticker-personalizat" Now what must be inserted at menu top link? if I insert just sticker-personalizat at link witch is friendly url we will have a page not found with this url "http://localhost/sticker-personalizat", if I insert "7-sticker-personalizat" will be great but what about that 7? It's normal? this is not friendly url at all. PS. nice tutorial there with creating new pages but for a begginer is more like a hack in the core than a cms solution... about a dummy thing, a new page in menu?!!!! Overall prestashop got my heart.
