xezus
Hi, I tried to move with search block on the top of the page through the blocksearch modul in prestashop/moduls/blocksearch. But without any response. But I also tried to edit for example currencies through his modul and it worked, but with search block didn't. Please could somebody tell me what I do wrong ? razaro
Check if your theme have folder modules/blocksearch. If it does, it overrides files from prestashop/moduls/blocksearch.
xezus
Yes, it has, but just one tpl file and one translation file, but even when I removed them, nothing happened. I still couldn't edit anything.
razaro
Are you trying to edit blocksearch-top.tpl ? Do you have force compile on, and cache off ?

vekia
your shop is online now? Maybe the best thing in this case is to share an url to shop, we will try to check what exactly you have to edit in css files etc
xezus
No unfortunately just on localhost, but I can upload it somewhere, or wrap it into a zip file?
vekia
nope, you don't have to do that. Can you prepare a print screen with section that you want to change? which version of prestashop you use? I will try it on my localhost

razaro
Do you use some custom theme that is similar to default one? Because in default one search block is already in centre and that css should work for you.
xezus
No, I copy the original theme and changed some css. And edited css of others modules and the searchblock jump up on the top of the page and when I tried to move it back. It didn't answer on any change of css. vekia
have you got something like firebug? you use chrome? if so, inspect this element and figure out from which css file it takes parameteres, this is the best way in my opinion to debug it. I think that this is css issues, but I'm not quite sure
xezus
Yes, I use chrome dev. tools. But I figured it out. I "reinstalled" the modul and now it works. Thanks a lot for help!
