UKJamie
Hello all In my shop I ship worldwide from th UK and have various carriers set up depending on where the customer is in the world. I have UK Mail setup to ONLY ship to UK customers, however a customer from Germany placed and paid for an order that had given him UK Mail as his carrier. He was charged £5.50 shipping when he ought to have been charged £21.50. 1. He shouldnt even be able to see the UK Mail option as he is in Germany and this carrier is ONLY UK Postcodes 2. The £5.50 is the handling charge set up in the back end 3. It looks as if he was not charged at all for shipping and just for handling?? although on his invoice it did state carrier as UK Mail. 4. I have the UK Mail carrier set with a range of prices to weight bands, and only for UK Postal Codes. I have shipping and handling ticked with (Include the shipping & handling costs in carrier price) and out of range behaviour set as (apply the cost of the highest defined range) Any ideas why this would happen please as I lost the sale and had to refund the customer over this... UKJamie
I got this in my mail....Paul please dont send private messages mate keep it in the forums so all can see... Hi Jamie, I've just read your post about uk shipping. I'm currently setting this up and wondered if you've integrated with any UK carriers? Thanks for any info. Paul The answer to this by the way is no I have not integrated I just manually put their rates into my back end shipping rates tables
