I would like to send a mailing to all clients with a newly generated password, so that clients can come back and order without having to reset their account/password. Is this a good practice? tomerg3 Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 I think a better solution would be to allow them to use their old password, which is possible if you use http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-migration-modules/39-oscommerce-to-prestashop-migration.html Otherwise, you would have to create a small script what would trigger sending them a new password, but that may confuse people.
