1.5.3.1 why no products showing in categories?

1.5.3.1 why no products showing in categories? In 1.4.X categories would list all products and total number in that category. Does 1.5.X not do this anymore.

You were probably using a 3rd party category module in 1.4 as it was never a built in feature.

Thank you for answering. Then why is there a categories tab in the catalog section that has a place for items in a category? I am confused.

It's for the structure of the site, not for the category block

Maybe I wasn't clear on the categories, I am refering to categories in the back office. I am used to being able to mass edit products by there category listing. If this is not native in PS1.5.3.1 can you point me in the right direction to do this like I could in PS1.4.9 using the defualt 1.5 Theme?

It sounded like you were talking about the category block on the front end, not the back end.

 

Prestashop never had a built in mass product editor in the backend.

As Tomer has said, Mass editing products was never a native feature in PrestaShop 1.4 or 1.5. You can give a global/category discount. Under Cart Rules>Catalog Discount. Is that what you were looking for?
