samsup
Hi all, I am trying to import my CSV file with categories into prestashop. The file is attached as a .txt file since i was not allowed to upload CSV. Whenever I click upload CSV ( I ofcourse upload a CSV file, NOT a text file), it gives me the following error: The ID category cannot be the same as the ID Root category, nor the ID Home category VALVES-FITTINGS-TAPPETS (ID: 004) cannot be saved MOTOR-CYLINDER-HEADS (ID: 007) cannot be saved and this list goes on for all subsequent categories. The weird thing is, when I ignore the ID collumn, it works fine, but the problem is that it hten assigns auto incrementing IDs, which will not match up with my products file. Is there a way to get this IDs working? (minding you that I do tick the "force ID" box) Kind regards, Simon categories_samsup.txt
samsup
Hi, I made some progress in the past 4 hours. Apart from the github corrections for the AdministratorImport.php file, (which fixed the custom ID problem), I also found out that the other error generated was due to a conflict. I tried to assign the Custom ID of 2, but 2 is already in use for Home.. So now everyting seems to be working perfectly
