tony_nyorks
I'm using Prestashop Version 1.5.3.1 and all was fine until the last 2 - 3 days. Now when someone wants to make a purchase online and selects paypal this is the error that shows up: Please try to contact the merchant: 1. PayPal response: 2. -> This kind of message doesn't give any clues and when I turn errors on I still get nothing. I have checked API's, reloaded the module, updates the module but nothing solves this problem. I know this has been put on this forum before and am wondering if the only answer is to switch to another cart like magento? Hope to get help from someone soon. tony_nyorks
Update to this. I loaded one of my domains onto a server with a different IP address and all worked ok. I think there is a problem with the Prestashop PayPal module which is causing PayPal to block IP addresses. Thats my theory. Why else would PayPal start blocking so many Prestashop shops? andrew
We have exactly the same problem. PayPal say that AT&T are blocking our IP address - so the API can't talk to them (but our host say they aren't) - and that it is currently quite a common problem. Any ideas?
