deadcalf Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 I changed in preferences-->images the image type from jpg to png, then i clicked on regenerate images, i can see that the old images are deleted, but when the system generates new ones, still does it in JPG not PNG Any ideas why this may happen? Did you check the filetype if it is a real jpg or are you just guessing because the extension says so? So anyway what is the purpose of doing that? If you do not need transparency I see no reason for a conversion. I did that on one site but filesizes and therefore pageload time is going down - no good .
