cocothecat Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Isn't it about time you come out with a new checkout process Prestashop? Or make it easier for someone to alter it? I mean with todays market place having the ability for the user to chop, change and edit the basket steps to test and aid with conversion I think is a must. Some ideas I have: - Move from 5 Step to 3 Step (this could be done by showing delivery options on the basket and also moving shipping address to the registration page) - Alter Guest checkout so this becomes the main checkout option BUT AFTER purchase you give the user the option to register by creating a password with the information they have already entered. cocothecat Posted March 7, 2013 Author Share Posted March 7, 2013 I've used that and the tests I ran while using it actually had a drop of sales for a wide range of selected stores. Id use something similar IF the option was to register AFTER payment has been made. So on checkout Pick Delivery Method Enter your Billing details (option to tick same for delivery) or enter new delivery address Enter Payment details Order Success > Would you like to register your details and it captures all the information the user entered previously.
