[SOLVED] Really Slow Site (Time To First Byte Problem)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I posted on the french forum but didn't get any answer, so I'll give a try here, hoping someone as a clue about my issue. Let me explain :

My site will be deployed soon but loading times are very very long !

I noticed thanks to this link : http://gtmetrix.com/...gga.fr/BN0iZ7s0

that the time to first byte was the issue. About 6 seconds to get the page displayed.

I don't know where to start to get rid of this issue.

My prestashop (1.5.3) is installed on a dedicated Kimsufi server (KSR-4G)

About my configuration :

- I activated CCC (except for CSS coz I have still some problems with styling)

- Smarty cache is enabled, and forced compilation is disabled.

- I enabled the memcached cache

- I also created 3 virtual hosts (content delivery network) as suggested in prestashop

I ran a test for my mysqlServer (on the same machine) (mysqlTuner https://github.com/r...MySQLTuner-perl)

Nothing alarming.

When I run ab -n 1000 -c 10 http://www.bodegga.fr

I don't have a saturated machine (I think)

I also installed zimbra on my server so I tried to disable it but no improving with loading times.

When I ask the server a simple html page (no mysql request), obviously it works perfectly and it's very fast !

I also enabled mod_deflate and activated gzip compression.

I'm wondering how to act to solve this problem. Do you think it's because my server is not strong enough to support prestashop ? Shall I change my server ?

If you think at the contrary my host server is quite enought, what shall I check in my configuration in order to solve this ?

Thank you in advance for your help !
