[Solved] Need to limit initial display of products to 4 products

Hi all,

I have modified the pagination.php file to only reflect 4 or 16 products on the page at a time.

My issue is that I would like the initial page to default to 4 products displayed at a time. I'm unable to find the location where this variable is set. Currently it seems to be set at 10.

Actually, I'm thinking about the category page. I should have been more specific. My client doesn't really want the first page, he wants to go directly to the first category. I don't have Featured Products installed.

Currently, when I click a category, the category page comes up and there are 10 products. I have the pagination set for 4 and 16. I'd really like the initial category page to be set for 4 products.

Any ideas?

try Backoffice -> Preferences -> Products, I think it is set to 10
