katie_b123
Hi everyone! I'm new to Prestashop and still trying to make sense of it all. I've downloaded the software etc and spent a great deal of time trying to familiarise myself with it but just wanted a little reassurance... It does get easier to use, doesn't it? At the moment it feels like everything's in a foreign language so I just wanted to make sure that it's not as complicated as it looks! Also... I've been looking at the modules and from what I can see the only way customers can make debit/credit card payments is if the PayPal module is installed... For £135. Is there any way this can be done free of charge? Thanks!

NemoPS
yes, but the normal free version can be used no matter what, so why buying that if she's just starting off?
Paulito
Good morning, Yes I agree but I know that their have been a few problems with ps 1.5 and the basic PayPal module from topics I have read on these forums Paul
NemoPS
True, but as far as i know every version had problems with paypal (with the exception of 1.4.8.2 as far as I know, since I use it without issue for my modules store). They usually release updates that fix the free version. But of course, the more payment methods she can use, the better, so why not skrill?
