geodeath
Hi all, great job on prestashop. However.. After setting up my first shop with rc2 (and i like it) i ran into some problems that were solved by the new rc3 one. After installing rc3 though, the front end shows nothing at all. This is my first problem. My second problem is I run into problems with all versions of prestashop on all servers & hosting packages i tried (time outs, too much cpu usage, etc). What kind of hosting package do i need? Can anyone let me know of hosting packages that work WELL with prestashop rc3? links to the services would be great as i need to deploy it fast and i am running out of options (and most hosters wont give demos). My third problem is the new theme. In the demo prestashop in this very website, the theme is different that the one in rc2. Where did the theme with the ajax cart and the tree categories go? Am i able to use the older template in rc3 or i am stuck with the new theme?.. thanks for all the answers George
geodeath
One of the errors i am getting in general is : Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit The server is IIS6 on a windows machine, with php 5 & mysql. Installation goes fine, i can login into admin but the front office doesnt show anything except that message sometimes. George

Matthieu Biart
Hi George! I am very surprising about what you're saying concerning PrestaShop ressources needs. It is the first time we have this kind of trouble. Usualy it is quite the reverse, we are fast and do not require so much ressources. This error "Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit" is definitly not a PrestaShop one. It seems to be more a ISS6 one :- Concerning theme and demo, we apologie but the current demo is obsolete (0.9.5.1) and have the old default theme. The current stable version being the 0.9.7.1 which share the same theme, but the last PrestaShop version is the 1.0RC3 which is the development one to be use only for testing/developing and which actually use the new prestashop theme.
