JsusSalv
Hello: Aside from deleting the logo from the server, is there a way to completely remove the logo via the admin panels? Here's the issue: the PrestaShop logo is the default image from the get-go. The logo image actually moves the three-columns down in order to accomodate for its dimensions. If someone were to change the default logo to a logo that is vertical, say with an height of 175px, the layout would be pushed down that amount of space. This create an enormous gap in the header of each page. A workaround for me was to hard-code the logo as a background image (via cCSS) within the header. This eliminates an gap at the top of the pages. However, this may not be suitable for most as the logo may be covered. Honestly, I really don't know what can be done here. Perhaps a module to help with this issue may prove useful but I wanted to see what others thought. Any thoughts?
petera
Have a look at glenmaree.co.nz I just replaced the logo image but had to be careful of the width as if it is to wide it pushes the 'welcome, your account' text down a line or two . This is 0.9.7 but the same thing can probably be done in 1.0. Hope this helps. I am just setting up an iMAc after my PC died so cant test the version 1. situation as yet. JsusSalv
@Peter Hello m8: I couldn't get glenmaree.co.nz to open up in my browser. Would you happen to have another URL you could provide? I know about the 'pushing' down bit. I tried that too and my site's layout was a bit skewed. What I will end up doing is hard-coding the logo as a background image in the upper-left corner and perhaps using a transparent square .png to keep the layout intact. Not the best solution but it would work. I may just end up adding a CSS/PHP header with images so that may help to stabilize the layout too. Please let me know if you have another URL to your site. Thank you! Cheers!
petera
my apologies it should be glennmaree.co.nz. I hope to set version 1.0.3 up on the desktop in the next couple of nights so will be able to play around bit then. Cheers Peter A
