Okidoki
I´ve created my account on cloudcache, but the presta module isnt working. Whe I try to test the connection, I receive this erro: An error occured, impossible to create a default zone. An error occured while testing the connection. rturner
When you login to cloudcache.com, does the zone exist under Manage Zones? When you click My Settings, and click the API link, does it show your API key and ID? Those are supposed to be entered into your cloudcache module. If that's all entered correctly, you can go to My Settings, API and click on Manage. Then when it opens, click the drop-down box and see if your zone is there. sadlyblue
Thanks for the reply. Yes, i do have a zone created, manually since the module that is supposed to do this, didn't do it. And I've add to the media servers the link to that zone. Still, the test connection gives an error. I can see some usage of the cloudcache, but only an average of 150Mb per day. And speaking about performance, didn't notice anything worth the extra service. And gtmetrix didn't recognize the usage of cdn, for example... I probably won't ask for a refund, but will not buy another month also... And what i find unusual, to say the least, is that this module is one that is "highlighted" and mentioned will increase performance, when in fact it seems it doesn't even configure properly... rturner
Hmmmm. If you have the API number and the User number in there, then it should test instantly. I needed their support once and found them pretty willing to help. It should serve all your images, css and js files. I didn't notice any increase in performance; my sites were pretty fast before cloudcache. I just use them because I have European customers so I want the site to be quick for them. I found them a little easier to set up than the Amazon cdn.
sadlyblue
The support is quite good, and interested in solve things, indeed. They came to the conclusion we should wait for another update with these bug fixed. The only thing i should point out is that the module was developed by prestashop dev team, so they say, and it's they how are in charge of releasing new updates and fixes. I find it weird they don't have a develop team to develop to all different platforms.
