Issue's With New Version And Adding Customers Or Changing Passwords.

Ok here is what has happened. I moved my site from my prior hosting company. I was at version 1.4.8. Prior to the move I did the upgrade to the 1.5.3.1 . Everything worked on the site with almost no issues. (basically simple issues that were easily resolved) I then made a backup of the files and the DB and brought it all over to the test site. Installed everything and had my first hiccup. I tried running my tests for the cart and when I went to register as a new customer I received this error "The field date_add is required". I continued to play with it and read the other posts. Nothing has related to this issue or resolved it. I finally after two days got it to work. (no clue how it just did) But now on the live site the same issue has reappeared and nothing as of yet has correctted it. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Any help would be great.
