alby13
Okay, so I followed the instructions here: http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Currencies/The problem is that it shows US $ for my Firefox browser, but when I try the store in Internet Explorer it shows Euro €I'm confused and I am wondering if this is a bug or if there is something else I have to do.Obviously this is a big issue. Please, someone reply.

rocky
Do you have US Dollar set as the default currency in Payment > Currencies? It might help if you gave us a link to your site to investigate.
alby13
Do you have US Dollar set as the default currency in Payment > Currencies? It might help if you gave us a link to your site to investigate. Thanks for the reply. Okay when I look under Payment I see the following: "Payment modules list", and "Payment module restrictions". Under those I have PayPal enabled only. Under "Payment module restrictions" I see "Currency restrictions" and "Country restrictions". I have Dollar selected and USA checked. Am I in the correct area in the Back Office? Here is a link to the store: http://www.mylifeplaza.com or http://mylifeplaza.com/shop/ (Under Construction)It looks like it shows Euro in both IE and Firefox so I don't know. rocky
That is not the section I mean. At the top, underneath the Payment tab, there is Currencies, Taxes and Vouchers. If you click on Currencies, there is a default currency option at the bottom. Make sure that it is set on US Dollar if you want that to be your default currency. I don't see Currencies. What does that mean?
rocky
I noticed that you are using v1.1. Something must have gone wrong at some stage to remove the section. Check that admin/tabs/AdminCurrencies.php has been uploaded correctly. If that doesn't work, go to Tools > Tabs and make sure that an entry called Currencies exists. If not, add one with name Currencies, class AdminCurrencies, icon /img/t/15.gif and parent Payment.

I also deleted Euros and Pounds since the store will not accept those. Worked like a charm. Thanks again, that was very helpful and I have no idea how that happened.
