Help! Error 310

I have installed version 1.5.3.1 and all went fine. BO Login working ok. Going to FO I get the following error:-

The web page at http://mydomain.com/index.php? has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

I have cleared the cookies and set the Canonical URL to No, regenerated the htaccess and removed the domain ssl, all without success.

Been messing about with it for the last week and need help bad.

This might help somebody point me in the right direction.

 

If I amend the ps_shop_url and remove the value / from the physical_uri field then the FO will load although the layout is all over the place as is the BO. If I put the / back in then the BO returns to normal and I am back to the error for the FO

ok, another update.

 

I would appear to be index.php. If I enter mydomin.com/address.php it will open this page no problem or any of the other .php files.

 

So what am I doing not doing?

I have noticed that my domain is still both registered and also in the pending queue with the hosting company, would this be causing any issues?
