Adding Product

Hi there, i have stupid questin, but i dont know answer.

 

Which function i must use if i want to add product to database?

 

I know hot to use simple function like:

Manufacturer::getNameById($id);

 

But i dont know how to use not so simple function and where to find fuction for add product.
