chenomenon
Hello,I have installed DG's template "Ipnotik", however I have encountered the issue where the images are not showing up online...The original images included (polo shirts) shows up only on my home laptop where the installation files are, but I cannot see it from a remote computer (work computer). The new images I uploaded doesn't show up in either locations. Everything in the img folder is set to 777.When I check the img folder, the new images I uploaded are converted into different sizes and is there in the image folder with product id. They can also be found in the phpMyAdmin database. For some reason it's just not showing up online. I have searched for similar topics in the forum and tried them, the error log is set "on" but in the BO there is no error when I upload the images, it says Update successful. If anyone has any ideas, please share!!Many thanks for your help
lotusutol
This is concerning, I need to check this behaviour too on another computer as I intend to use this as my theme as well
chenomenon
I don't know if it's the template, since others didn't seem to have this issue and I have been poking around trying to 'fix' it, perhaps I've accidentally overwritten something....but if anyone have any ideas or advice on how to poke around I'm open to try! chenomenon
so I have found out why the images doesn't show up. Even though I have already set the folders to 777 perms, i had to go into the folder and set the jpg to 777. But not only that, every time I upload a new image/product, I have to go back into ftp to set the permission for that entire folder to 777 again for the image to be converted and uploaded into the img/p folder. I've tried it 3 times, and each time I have to manually go in and reset. Does anyone know why that is?please help! :bug:
