leboutlet
Hello I need to upgrade my prestashop version from 1.4.7 to the latest 1.5. Is it possible to update the core only? I have modified my theme, layout, scripts and even a few modules to get all of it working correctly. I dont want to "break" them by installing 1.5's new files over them. And having to debug the store again. So is it possible to install the 1.5 version over the "back office" core only without touching the templates/theme/modules etc...? El Patron
you should create a test system of your 1.4 shop, back that up and try the upgrade...then you can identify template/module changes you can not live without....so that they work in 1.5 you will not be able to 'fake' out your 1.4 template/modules to run as there are some significant differences in the 1.4 and 1.5 core functions.
