usengines
We have 11 installations of Prestashop new of the 15,3,1 none of the installations will work with the CSV import. Since we have over 100 products, this is a real problem is there any fix other than dropping back to 14.9? Most of these errors claim that the condition is not permitted and then goes on to state the exact conditions we are using as those permitted. 152 errors
Arnel
Hello USengines, When you installed the 1.5.3.1 version, did you install it fresh or with a database migration? I did some searching and I noticed this bug report: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-[spam-filter] They're dealing with the same issues, and it does appear that Prestashop is aware of the problem. Has anyone else been able to import product data using CSV? Arnel C. Web Hosting Hub
usengines
We started first as an upgrade from 14.9 which we had numerous problems doing, it was finally achieved by an admin at the hosting company, however the csv did not work in any of them, Then installed brand new installations using two hosting companies quick load software with brand new empty databases CSV did not work even with files uploaded with no difficulty with previous versions. Our primary reason for upgrading was to use the multi-store feature.
usengines
I found a solution. The original spreadsheet had the conditions capitalized such as New, I noticed that the list of acceptable conditions was in lower case letters. After changing 14,000+ conditions to lower case letters the import worked. This does not make a lot of sense, why can you import category names in capital letters and not conditions? Arnel
Hello Usengines, Thanks for your reply - and pardon the delay on my response. I was going through my post history and noticed that this one had gone unanswered. It's a very good question. Part of the problem will be the requirements of the server - it's possible that there is caps sensitive setting that may cause this issue - at least in my history of working with installing SQL servers, there was such a setting. I'm fairly certain you're familiar with the case-sensitivity issues for files on the servers, but as for the code and the actual data being transferred, it really does look to be SQL-server related. I'm looking into this as we have an outstanding request for documentation on data imports for our supported ecommerce software. If I find anything further, I'll post the information here.
