1.4.6.2 To 1.5.3 Manual Upgrade

Greetings everyone,

 

I'm trying to do a manual upgrade from the 1.4.6.2 to the 1.5.3 version.

 

The problem is that I keep getting a 'result="fail" error="34"' and a fail result on numerous sql queries.

 

I am using an nginx server and mysql 5.5.22 on an ubuntu os.

 

Has anyone else encountered this and been able to solve it?

I have tried the whole process more than twice and I cannot get the automatic upgrade to work either.
